Hip-Hop superstars Kanye West, Wyclef Jean, and N.E.R.D. have been tagged to perform at the Democratic National Convention next month.
According to The Washington Post, the convention will take place in Denver, Colorado, as the trio will be hitting the stage in support of presidential candidate Barack Obama.
Wyclef has also been known for his humanitarian contributions as he was named ambassador for Haiti earlier this year. Various hip-hop artists like Young Jeezy, Common, and the Black Eyed Pea’s will.i.am have publicly displayed support for Obama.
Other celebrities expected to make appearances are Ed Norton, Forest Whitaker, Scarlett Johansson, Warren Beatty and Ben Affleck.
The Democratic National Convention begins on Monday, August 25.
